Answer
I am committed to improving connectivity between Belfast and Dublin as this is key in delivering opportunities for better connecting the island of Ireland and enhancing our respective economies. Our rail network, whilst relatively small, does present a unique opportunity in this regard.
In line with this and the commitments within the New Decade New Approach, I am committed to delivering high speed rail. I recently met with Minister Ryan to discuss the improvement of transport links and hope to be in a position to provide a further update in due course.
