Answer
The section of road adjacent to The Banks at Groomsport Road, Bangor has been affected over recent years by a significant number of utility excavations. Officials have inspected the area and I am advised that there are no defects that meet the current intervention threshold for initiating repairs. A number of issues were identified which are the responsibility of NIW and these have been brought to their attention.
My Department will continue to carry out cyclical inspections of the Groomsport Road and take forward the repair of any defects meeting the current intervention criteria.
