Statutory requirements underpin the majority of the services my Department provides either directly or indirectly. It is therefore not possible to itemise amounts of capital dedicated to statutory requirements in isolation.
£520m (72%) of my capital budget is either Flagship, contractually committed or precommitted leaving just £202.5m (28%) to address my Ministerial priorities. Apart from Executive allocations specifically for NIW, this has been compounded by a real terms cut in resource funding.
