Answer
Due to the impact that Covid-19 restrictions have had on traffic flows, completion of traffic speed and volume assessments were delayed until such a time as traffic flows returned to more normal levels. With the return of schools in late August 2021, it is considered that it is now appropriate to carry out traffic surveys and a number of outstanding ATC (Automatic Traffic Count) surveys will be undertaken in the coming months. This will enable traffic related assessments, including this speed limit review, to be completed and I have asked officials to advise you of the outcome when this work is complete.
