Answer
The School Enhancement Programme at St Columbanus’ College was announced in January 2019 to advance in design under the Second Call to the School Enhancement Programme (SEP2).
A design team has been appointed to develop the plans for the building and to oversee the construction phase.
A feasibility report produced by the design team is under consideration by the Department.
It is currently estimated that the SEP2 project will start on site in summer 2023, with the works complete in 2024. The programme will be subject to regular review by the Project Board, given the current challenges in the construction industry and budget availability.
