To ask the Minister for Infrastructure when the outcome of the NI Planning Portal User Survey will be published and whether the findings have been included as part of the specification for a new portal.

The NI Planning Portal Survey was carried out June 2022 and the findings are currently under review by the regional Project Team. The key findings of this Survey will be published later this year after the implementation of the new Planning IT System.
The specification for the new Planning Portal was developed in 2019 and so the findings of the recent survey could not have been included. However, the previous NI Planning Portal User Survey carried out in 2017 did inform the ‘Discovery’ stage of the Project.
