Answer

The Driver and Vehicle Agency offers an Arabic voiceover for the car and motorcycle theory tests. If this is not suitable, or if the customer is taking one of the other test categories, then they can avail of an interpreter.

The customer must book their test via the theory test Customer Service Centre (CSC) to ensure the correct facilities are in place for the delivery of an interpreter assisted test. The CSC will provide the candidate with the contact details of the Northern Ireland Civil Service approved supplier, currently FLEX Language Services. The candidate is responsible for making the necessary arrangements, and covering the cost with FLEX, for an interpreter to attend on the scheduled date and time.
