Answer
Patients who are experiencing side-effects following Essure implant surgery should, in the first instance, consult with their GP and if necessary, seek referral to the Health and Social Care Trust where their surgery was performed, to discuss specialist care and treatment options based on their individual needs.
For patients who are suffering chronic pain while awaiting further assessment and treatment, the Better Days Pain Support Programme is available to book online at hlcalliance.org. The programme includes face-to-face and remote programmes which are available in a number of locations across Northern Ireland.
