Answer

As of 21 June 2020 the rate of positive cases was recorded as 245 per 100K population in the Ards and North Down area. This is lower than the overall rate for Northern Ireland which on the same date was recorded as 259 positive cases per 100K population. The total number of positive cases in the Ards and North Down area identified during June was 44.

Our contact tracing service (Test, Trace & Protect) was introduced on 18 May 2020. The Public Health Agency has advised that no potential clusters or outbreaks have been identified in the Ards and North Down council area to date by the service.
